THE PROPHECY

It rides upon the twilight winds
Of dusky night and dawn
A tale of goddess split in
Seven colours of morn.

The angels cried and God hath wept
In tears and swollen eyes
But the world forgot that song of old
That hymn of sacrifice

Yet leaves whisper of a paradise
Long lost in hues of dark
Again shall reign that bliss eternal
And wash the chasten mark

Upon the hills of eastern lands
A fairy shall be born
The glowing blood of angels heart
Shall sing what devils mourn

Peace shall know the world not hate
In wake of the goddess' reign
The pearl shall bring her back to life
What once was lost to pain...
